Our 5-week Kids and Tweens Yoga class is designed to introduce children to the incredible world of yoga while nurturing their physical and mental well-being. Led by expert instructors, this class is a perfect blend of playfulness and purpose, offering a unique opportunity for kids to explore their bodies and minds.
Through a variety of engaging yoga postures, kids will enhance their strength, balance, and flexibility. Yoga isn't just about movement; it's about embracing mindfulness. Our classes incorporate activities that stimulate both sides of the brain, enhancing focus, cognitive skills, and emotional awareness. Your child will be better equipped to handle challenges with clarity and calmness. Guided breathing and mindfulness exercises will teach your child how to find moments of peace and serenity. Embark on a journey to a galaxy far, far away in a special 'May The 4th Be With You' yoga class with YTT student Julianne Serpa! If you’re on a quest to find balance and harmony in mind, body, and spirit (and have fun while doing it!) you don’t want to miss this...
Inspired by the timeless saga of Star Wars, this class will explore the interplay between the light and the dark as we flow through a meditative posture sequence designed to awaken the life force within. Embrace your inner Jedi (or Sith!) while cultivating curiosity, courage, and strength on your mat. The class will end with an extended savasana to let the dark forces of stress and tension melt away, leaving you feeling renewed and shining as bright as a lightsaber!
This class is geared toward any yogi who is curious about deepening their practice. You should have at minimum a basic understanding of pranayama and asana and the ability to keep yourself safe and modify the practice as needed for your body.
Whether you're a lifelong Star Wars fan or simply seeking to strengthen your connection with the Force within, come join us as we harness the energy of the universe together!! May the Force be with you, always.

Your Mind, and Cultivate Compassion

looking for a way to enhance your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing? If
so, join us at Crofton Yoga for our Restore Loving Kindness Workshop!
During this transformative workshop, you will learn how to
nourish your body, calm your mind, and cultivate compassion for yourself and
others. We will focus on two powerful practices: restorative yoga and Meta
meditation (loving kindness meditation).
Restorative yoga is a gentle, slow-paced practice that uses
props to support the body in various poses, allowing for deep relaxation and
release of tension. This practice can reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep
quality, boost immune system function, and enhance flexibility and range of
motion.
Meta meditation is a form of meditation that cultivates
compassion and loving kindness towards oneself and others. This practice can
reduce negative self-talk and self-criticism, improve mood and emotional
wellbeing, increase empathy and compassion, and enhance overall sense of
well-being.
Together, these two practices work synergistically to create
a powerful sense of physical, mental, and emotional restoration and rejuvenation.
Restorative yoga prepares the body for meditation, while Meta meditation
enhances the relaxation response and cultivates compassion.
