Come join Liz for a workshop focused on finding ways to use mindfulness techniques and yoga philosophy to slow down and be in the moment in the midst of our busy lives. In this workshop, you’ll be led through some mindful meditation practices to incorporate into your home life with your spouse, and children, or on your own to find a deeper sense of peace in the midst of the ups and downs of our fast-paced lives. The workshop will conclude with a gentle stretch and relaxation aimed toward whole-body tension release, leaving you feeling peaceful and centered: Ready to embrace the winter season with a sense of calm. You’ll leave with a couple of small items to take with you, aiding you on your mindfulness journey.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, our Partner Yoga workshop is crafted to be accessible to all skill levels, promoting harmony and unity through cooperative movement. You'll be guided to work alongside your partner, exploring traditional yoga poses that emphasize communication, coordination, and collaboration. Together, you'll assist each other in deepening stretches, aligning postures, and tapping into the powerful synergy of shared energy.
What to Expect:
Begin the session with practices designed to set a focused and intentional tone.
Engage in partnered poses that are tailored to build strength, flexibility, and balance.
Expect plenty of laughter and smiles as you move through playful and interactive yoga poses.
Conclude with a relaxation phase that allows you both to reflect on the experience and unwind together.

A Creative way to connect and spend time together.
Life has changed faster and further than many of us could have ever predicted as a child. Who honestly called Global Pandemic in their lifetime?? Yes, life has changed and in some ways, we are busier and more hectic than ever. Before you know it all of that bonding time that you and your partner used to have has been replaced with “checking the boxes of life” and “making sure your lists get done.” Before you know it the only “bonding” you and your partner do is over lists and “getting stuff done.”
Relationships are like a good fire going in the fireplace. As many of you already know you don’t just light the woodpile in the fireplace and walk away. The fire takes time to cultivate a good flame and then needs tending to ensure the flame and heat from the fire are regulated. Well, relationships are quite the same. Yes, we have the spark and fire of new love. We can even have the roaring fire of young love that seems as if it will burn as bright and hot as the sun forever. Then life and reality set in. It’s not that we don’t care for our partners anymore, it’s not that we don’t want to be with our beloved. Simply put we let too many other things creep into the relationship that steals time and energy away.
Passion, relationship, and rapport all require consistent, intentional, daily work. When we don’t make our relationships a priority, those relationships can quickly erode into feeling more like roommates or colleagues rather than romantic partners.
Join Kim and Steve in this fun, bonding, relationship-strengthening workshop. You and your partner will spend the afternoon building trust, and rapport, and learning to rediscover each other. Kim and Steve will be using such tools as Thai Yoga, Partner Trust, Listening Touch, and other partner-building skills to allow you and your beloved to get back to that place where the two of you can enjoy and endure anything together.
