Gift Yourself With The Best Gift Of The Season: Find Inner Balance And Calmness, One Breath At A Time
Dates: Friday, December 06, 2024
Location: Crofton Yoga
In-Person
Join Viola for a gentle yoga flow and meditation framed around the intention of creating inner balance and calmness within oneself. This evening flow provides a great opportunity for everyone who struggles to make time for themselves, throughout this busy season, to practice self-care and compassion one breath, and one movement/posture (asana) at a time.
The mindful practice of yoga has shown throughout the centuries that it has positive effects on individuals' physical and mental well-being. This workshop will use these benefits in a manner that allows every yogi, no matter where you are in your yoga journey, to recenter, rejuvenate, and find joy on and of your mat.
Overall, the main purpose of this workshop is for students to gain a better understanding that slowing down and taking EACH MOMENT, without labeling it good or bad, and finding acceptance within each moment, will create an inner balance and calmness, allowing them to face day-to-day challenges with more ease.
Students will have the opportunity to experience: • calming effects of different breathing techniques (pranayama) • rejuvenating effects of: § pairing breath (prana) and movement (kriya) § using the breath (prana) to sink deeper into a posture (asana) • using postures (asanas) as an anchor, and the breath (prana) as the guide to create inner peace/calmness – connecting body, mind, and spirit

New Year's Eve Yoga & Burning Bowl Ceremony: Align with Your Purpose in 2025
On the first day of 2025, join us for a transformative New
Year's Day experience that combines the serenity of yoga with the powerful
symbolism of a Burning Bowl Ceremony. As we bid farewell to the year behind and
step into the fresh canvas of 2025, this special class invites you to embrace
renewal, release, and the art of setting intentions.
We will begin with a gentle and intentional slow-flow yoga
practice. Guided by the soothing rhythm
of your breath, release tensions, and create space for the new. With a guided meditation, and purposeful
workbook participants will reflect on the year gone by and prepare for a ritual
of release and renewal as we gather around a circle for the symbolic Burning
Bowl Ceremony. This time-honored ritual
allows you to let go of anything that no longer serves you—old patterns,
regrets, or fears. Witness the flames transform these written releases,
symbolizing a powerful release of the old and an embrace of the new.
Each participant will receive energetic tools to take home
as a tangible reminder of your commitment to personal growth and
transformation.
