Yoga Foundations: Start, Restart, or Refine 5-Week Workshop July 2026

Dates: Wednesday, July 29, 2026 - Wednesday, August 26, 2026
Location: Crofton Yoga
In-Person

Maybe you've never stepped on a yoga mat. Maybe it's been years, and you're not sure your body still remembers. Or maybe you're in class every week, quietly following along… while wondering whether you're even doing it right.

Wherever you're starting from, this is the workshop that meets you there.

Yoga Foundations slows everything down. Over five weeks, you'll learn the building blocks of a practice that actually lasts: safe alignment in the poses (asana), breathing with intention (pranayama), and how to use props — blocks, straps, blankets — to make every pose work for your body, instead of forcing your body into the pose.

If you're brand new, you'll never feel behind. Every pose is demonstrated before you try it, the instruction is detailed, and questions aren't just welcome; they're the whole point.

If you're coming back after time away, this is a safe, unhurried way to return. We'll rebuild strength and confidence at a pace that honors the body you have today, not the one you had the last time you practiced.

And if you've been practicing for a while, this is where everything starts working better. You'll fix the poses that have quietly nagged at you for years, protect the knees, shoulders, and low back that have started to complain, and walk back into your regular classes getting twice as much out of them. Small adjustments, big difference; you'll feel it the very next time you're on the mat.

Attend all five weeks, or drop in for the ones you need. Either way, you belong here.

By the end, you'll have a foundation strong enough to carry you into any class and into your everyday life.

The only place you need to be flexible is in your mind.
