Pam’s background is rich in knowledge, experience and a dedication to wellness motivated by a family history of obesity, unresolved conflict, and mental health challenges. Self-inquiry, lifelong learning, and movement are the cornerstones of Pam’s teaching. As a highly accomplished group fitness leader for more than 30 years, she guides clients through sessions that provide opportunities to tap into deep wisdom, to help shift perspectives about what is possible and to explore how truly magnificent our bodies really are; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Pam’s professional journey began with modern dance in 1981. Movement was the medicine she didn’t know she needed. Her current passion is primarily teaching yoga, cycling, suspension training, and Resist-a-Ball® helping to guide clients through classes or sessions that provide opportunities to grow inside and out. She has a special affection for beginners, obese, chronically injured and de-conditioned clients because it’s never too late to start to move and there are always options available to choose to feel better in our bodies and in our lives. Pam is an AFAA and ACE certified Group Fitness Instructor, a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher, a Functional Aging Specialist and Teacher Trainer for Spinning®, CrossCore® and Resist-a-Ball®. As Program Director for Evolutions in Annapolis, she sincerely enjoys the challenge of coordinating instructors, participants, preferences, times and interpreting options to keep everyone fresh, happy and actively pursuing their personal fitness and professional goals.
When not in the studio on a mat, a ball or a bike, Pam prefers quiet times contemplating, reading, chillaxing with her family and friends, or meandering around this gorgeous planet with her husband.
